Five Weeks

Five weeks in and Eamon's starting to smile! We just get quick ones here and there (usually in the morning after he gets up or at night), but each one melts my heart. Looks like his dimples may be here to stay!

He had his one-month checkup last week and weighed in at 11 pounds, 4 oz (up a pound or so from two weeks prior). He also grew another inch to 23, putting him in the 90th percentile for length (his weight is 80%). He has been a bit on the fussier side this week, but I think that's just because he's growing and is extra hungry. Hopefully it's nothing more than that. And thankfully, the fussiness comes during the day--by nighttime he's fine and continues to sleep very well.

We started baby yoga and have been hanging out with some other moms with babies born around the same time as E, so our days are pretty much booked. Meaning I'm not getting much time to do anything but play with E, but isn't that what being a mom's all about?
