Eight Weeks

Yay! This week we got to see some smiles! Real ones, that is, not the random or gas-induced grins of the past. Eamon is really connecting with us and seems to be excitedly discovering his surroundings with his big (hazel?) eyes. He did very well at his aunt Bec and uncle John's wedding (slept right thru it!) and enjoyed his time at their post-wedding Octoberfest in the comfort of his BOB--sans infant seat.

Other than the smiles, Eamon is also sleeping very well, with now two nights in a row of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Because he's so big (13 lbs, 8 oz as of yesterday), he eats enough throughout the day that he can go pretty long at night without a feeding. Hooray for big stomachs!

Hard to believe he's almost two months old. He still seems like such a little peanut to me, but I look back at his new-newborn pics and he has changed so much since August. Time is definitely flying!
