19 Weeks

Looks who's eating solids! Eamon hit the four-month-mark in mid-December, deeming him ready for the next step in the food chain: Rice Cereal. It actually has the consistency of watery grits, but he takes it from a spoon nonetheless. And no surprise, he LOVES it. He took to the spoon right away and even tried to steal it right out of my hands. Next up: Oatmeal, then barley, then apple sauce, then veggies. I have a feeling we're going to have a lot of fun with this food thing!

In other news, Eamon is doing wonderfully. He was a champ with all of the back-and-forth we did over Christmas and slept through the night (and well into the morning) for over half of the nights we were there. But...he's drooling like crazy and is gnawing on everything in sight, which we can only guess are signs that teeth are on their way. So the whole 8-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep may be sacrificed to sore gums. Let's hope not!
